Avid have released a new addition to their Pro Tools range - the new HD Native. Many people have been expecting this immanent addition to their range and now it is here. No pricing or upgrade paths are listed on the website yet.
hi damo, so why would one buy this and not just an mbox? to call your dog from great distances perhaps? what does this actually allow you to do that otherwise could not be done? can humans actually hear a difference?
The difference between this and the MBOX is that this runs ProTools HD and not ProTools LE. When you compare the price of a 003R + Complete production Toolkit, you are getting close to the price of the Native HD setup, which ultimately is a superior product.
